Polar Bear Rides !!!
Two Upcoming Polar Bear rides
The Polar Bear Ride on Sunday, 01-15.
This ride was great ! The average temperature on the ride out was around 15 degrees. Then it warmed up nicely to a balmy 25 degrees for the ride home.
Here are some pictures from the day.
There is another Polar Bear Ride. This one is up on Sunday, 01-29.
This ride is tentative depending on the weather. If you plan on going, I need to know so that I can contact you to confirm whether we’re going or not. It’s very likely that this ride will not happen, but ya just never know.
Here’s the itinerary:
10:00 Meet at Denny’s accross the street from the Gateway Diner in Newburgh on the intersection of 9W and 32.
10:30 Departure. We’ll probably take a combination of various types of roads there, including about 12 miles of I-787.
12:30 Arrive at The Exchange in Rockaway, NJ.
2:00 Departure. We’ll probably take I-80, I-287 and I-87.
Please arrive with a full tank of gas, an empty bladder and be ready to ride by 10:00.
